Welcome to Soul Session hosted by Positive Outlooks with Emma Ward at the Fig Tree Function Centre at the Adelaide Zoo.
Saturday 13th June
Together, we’ll create space to breathe, connect deeply with like-minded souls, and restore the energy that supports your heart and wellbeing in the relaxing surrounds of the Adelaide Zoo.

Doors Open
Our gentle and grounding schedule begins with doors opening from 11:30am. You are welcome to arrive anytime from then, set up your yoga mat, and take a mindful walk around Adelaide Zoo. You may like to purchase your lunch during this time at the zoo, or you are welcome to bring your own lunch. We ask that everyone is back or arrives at the Fig Tree Function Centre by 1:00pm. Entry costs to the zoo are included in your ticket price.
Welcome + Breathwork Meditation
The event will begin with a warm welcome from Emma Ward, followed by a gentle 30-minute breathwork meditation by Sunny Gibbs to help everyone settle in and prepare for the day.
There will be a short movement break after the breathwork session before moving into the Yin Yoga layered Sound Bath experience.
Yin Yoga layered Sound Bath
A beautiful, layered experience begins with a calming Yin Yoga session, guided by the nurturing presence of Kerri Oakley, gently supporting your body and mind to fully arrive and unwind.
This nourishing flow is then layered with a deeply immersive sound bath by Sonja from Hope and Harmony. Sonja’s soothing soundscapes work to calm the nervous system, inviting a profound sense of relaxation, restoration, and inner peace.
Connection + Refreshments
We invite you to connect with like-hearted souls, and enjoy platters and a complimentary glass of Champagne or a refreshing soft drink with event scheduled to close at 5pm

What to bring
Set Yourself Up for Comfort
Please bring along anything that will help you feel completely at ease as you lie down during the 90-minute Soul Session Flow.
- Yoga mat (essential)
- Soft base (blanket or topper) + pillow
- Warm blanket to snuggle under
- Eye pillow or scarf to cover eyes
- Any personal essentials that deepen your comfort
We want you to know
Everyone is Welcome
You don’t need to have a certain level of fitness to enjoy our Soul Session Flow. Yin Yoga is slow-moving and gentle, designed to allow your body to fully relax and release. There are no challenging poses or tricky transitions, no awkward downward dogs or anything that makes you feel self-conscious in front of the camera. This is your time to arrive fully, breathe, and be supported by the nurturing presence of our guides and the soothing sound bath.
The intention for this day is simplicity, ease, and flow and a stress-free experience from beginning to end.

A Gentle Reminder
During our time together, Hannah from Tide & Thrive will be capturing moments through photo and video to reflect the energy of the day. These may be shared on social media to inspire and uplift our wider community.
