Soul Sessions: Creating Space for Calm and Clarity

If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s how much the nervous system affects every part of our lives.

I know firsthand what it feels like to live with anxiety – the constant buzzing in your mind, the tightness in your chest, the feeling that no matter what you do, you can’t switch off.

For years, I carried this tension with me, not realizing that my body was asking for something different: a space to breathe, to release, and to restore.

That’s why I’m so passionate about helping others calm their nervous system. Over time, I discovered practices that genuinely help me, and countless others – find a sense of ease in the body and mind:

• Breath-work: Our breath is a powerful tool. Simple, conscious breathing can instantly shift the nervous system from fight-or-flight mode into relaxation, helping us feel grounded and present

• Meditation: Sitting quietly and turning inward has taught me how to observe my thoughts without judgment, creating space for calm and clarity

• Healing Sound Baths: The vibrations from gongs, singing bowls, and other instruments resonate deep within the body, gently releasing tension and restoring harmony

• Yoga: Moving mindfully allows us to reconnect with our bodies, release stored stress, and cultivate a feeling of balance

• EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique): Tapping on acupressure points helps release stuck emotions, calming the nervous system and bringing a sense of relief.

These are more than just practices – they are lifelines. They have transformed my own relationship with anxiety and stress, and I love guiding others to experience the same shift.

It’s why I created Soul Sessions, a space where you can step away from the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in practices that truly nourish your nervous system. Each session is designed to help you release tension, feel grounded, and reconnect with your inner calm – whether through breath-work, meditation, sound healing, yoga, or EFT.

Helping people find peace in their bodies and minds isn’t just my profession – it’s my calling. I know how life can feel overwhelming, and I want everyone to experience the relief and clarity that comes from slowing down, tuning in, and allowing themselves to simply be.

The next Soul Sessions event will be on Saturday 13th June in the Fig Tree Function Centre at the Adelaide Zoo.

Together, we’ll create space to breathe, connect deeply with like-minded souls, and restore the energy that supports your heart and wellbeing in the relaxing surrounds of the Adelaide Zoo. Through breathwork and meditation to gently reset your nervous system, followed by yin yoga and a layered sound bath, this experience is designed to help you slow down, soften, and come back to yourself.
